BuzzLuck Casino, after being assumed dead for close to a year after a reputable run for the gold in a highly competitive market, has been resurrected by the top-tier owners of the Club World Casinos group and given new life, new software and a better position this time around. The results should be quite different, as well. It’s tempting to throw the word “buzz” around in overused jokes and feeble word-play; however, BuzzLuck has qualities that make it a serious contender in the future, and as such deserves a more serious approach to what makes that statement a fact.

ABOUT BUZZLUCK

BuzzLuck has a past history of being one of many casinos that didn’t make it. The name BuzzLuck carries with it a legacy of honor for the class shown by staying open long enough to ensure any remaining balances were paid. This may be the reason Club World breathed new life into a name worthy of a second chance. Everything else about this casino has changed. The introduction of NuWorks Software (only one other casino provides it at the time of this writing) gives BuzzLuck a prominent start and made it irresistible to this long-time gaming enthusiast. There were (and most likely will be) some growing pains for the casino to experience, with the most notable being the Grand Opening Freeroll Tourney which had started play, but was canceled before completion due to some unforeseen glitch. There were quite a number of other tourney cancellations and the bug was severe enough to disrupt tournament play at most, if not all, the Club World groups’ schedules. Sadly, tournaments remain unavailable at BuzzLuck for an indefinite amount of time. Note: Club World’s remaining casinos’ tourneys are running like clockwork again.

True to form, and perhaps even in support of the theory of reincarnation, BuzzLuck divided the 5K prizepool equally to all registered players of the canceled freeroll. A classy gesture; however, I was nowhere near the top of the leader list and those who were? They may have a slightly different opinion.

Support is quick, intelligent and attentive. They are the same regular personnel that provide service to all the Club World groups during their shift. When I ask how they feel about their employment, I always receive the same, sincere reply: “I love it!”. I didn’t add the exclamation point. They look forward to helping customers and are some of the best in the industry. Take my advice: before you contact them when you’re upset about a situation, take a deep breath…. be calm and considerate…..then allow them the opportunity to do what they love doing. You’ll be surprised how accommodating these reps can be and when they can’t immediately help you, they’ll refer you to someone who will be more able to. Having said that, I’d like to personally thank Stephen, for his solution recently that was beyond my expectations and appreciated greatly.

THE INS AND OUTS OF FINANCING

The casino has fourteen deposit methods for the international population. There shouldn’t be much trouble for this category of the populace to find an acceptable method. USA players, on the other hand, are mostly reliant on VISA, MasterCard or American Express- with several no fee, third-party intermediaries should the direct deposit be declined.

I prefer a prepaid VISA debitcard for gaming and have found each of these third-party deposit methods effective and simple to use. Wire transfers and MyPaylinQ are offered, but after thoroughly reading MyPaylinQs terms and conditions, this is not an option, having fees at every juncture and far too many restrictions to ever consider using it.

Daily deposit limits range from $21 USD (micro-limit players should like that), to $2500USD (satisfying a more whale-like appetite). Withdrawal options are plentiful for the international set and you’ll find no problem being accommodated. Once again, US players are limited in choice, with courier checks at limits of $350 to $2500 and a fee of $25 (my preferred method); wire transfers at limits of $100 to $4000, no fee; and Pay My Card (returns money to your depositing credit card) at limits of $20 to $1000 and carrying a $9 price tag. Consistent with all Club World groups, BuzzLuck pay outs are quickly executed (mine with Club World have all been within 72hrs) once documentation is returned complete to the casino. This is simplified by Club World’s policy of transferring your documentation from any one of it’s casinos to all the others. Do it for one- it’s done for them all. The cashier interface is the same familiar one that the majority of RTG sites employ.

THE PLAY

With that all out of the way, let’s take a closer look at the gaming. The casino main page is simply arranged, which I do like. Nice contrasting colors are pleasing to the eye and make locating specific items a simple task. There’s another contributing factor to that. There simply aren’t many specific items to look for! The basic layout will be familiar to RTG players, yet there are a few changes. There are four icons on the upper left: page expansion, page closing, live-chat, and an icon that enables a short, drop-down column the width of the page.

With the exception of a single live-chat link, it is barren. No doubt there is a blueprint for more to come in this area. Upper right shows a home icon, which seems pointless- that’s where you are. With a single cashier button in it’s normal place at the bottom, all the games categories in the middle and your balance amount at lower left, there is nothing left to find. Which is a bit frustrating at times. Would you like their email address? Sorry. How about casino terms and conditions? Nope, nada. (in my opinion ALL casinos should have this within the casino- not on some distant homepage) well, okay then….What is the number I can call for support? Do you have that? Hey! they do! but it is (scroll down you’ll see it) on the cashier page. What do the icons represent, at a glance? Hmmmm, i think this one is for…..let me put my pointer on it, so it’ll say in text…..gee, sorry, that doesn’t do anything.

Okay, I made my point. The casino interface is stripped down to minimums. I don’t have any problem there, EXCEPT it has been like that since opening day. The game list is slim- Four versions of video poker (with 5 different hand quantities for each available), four table games, and twenty-five 5 reel slots. Slim indeed. Yet in spite of all that, The casino shows great promise and is worthy of visiting, if only to see what the creative software designers from RTG’s stable of talent came up with this time. On a few of these in particular, they got some wood on the ball and it remains to be seen if they can come away with hitting a homerun.

I’m not going to go deep into the descriptive end of this, as I feel (at least for the time being) that this is a great place for the player who could use a break to play a little and discover some innovative new features that hint at the direction online slots may be heading. There’s nothing dramatic about any of it, actually it is quite subtle, but you get a sense of change coming from within the walls of RTG’s NuWorks’ think-tank. (I’ll give you this tip: start with Camper’s Cash, very fun with frequent features).

BuzzLuck has some wonderful slots- the other games are limited and fairly routine, blackjack is blackjack and the video poker here is the standard popular offering. That needs to change, and soon.

MY FINAL THOUGHTS

Showcasing NuWorks Software, (a division of RealTimeGaming) and backed by the award-winning Club World Casinos group makes BuzzLuck an attractive destination for the wandering player in search of a short breath of fresh air. With all that going for it, it lack’s the variety and quantity that today’s player demands.

The slots are definitely tighter than most, so play just for plays’ sake- without expectation, and enjoy the ride. It would be a shame to see history repeat itself should RTG drop the ball that is clearly on it’s way to the bleachers. Be sure to at least take a peak at it, you may not get another chance for some time.

Buzzluck does not offer a no deposit bonus upon registration. While that’s not unusual, it’s an interesting detour from a new casino’s grand opening (reopening?), made even more unusual considering it introduces an entirely new software suite. As with any casino, they do provide a fun play mode you could choose for evaluation, yet with a $21 minimum on deposits, you could add some opportunities to win big, without much at stake, as an alternative trial method.

They do have a deposit bonus on the table for new players who sign up through BonusHitList. These are the details:

120% bonus up to $1000

buzzluck casino bonus

* The deposit and the bonus must be wagered (25) on Slots before a cashout is permitted, however, wagers on other games count 0.5, for example a $1 wager on blackjack will only reduce your playthrough by 50cent.
* No maximum cashout on the welcome bonus.
* The bonus chips are unredeemable and will be removed from the associated cashout.
* Offer limited to one player per household/computer.
* Please redeem the coupon in the cashier before you make a deposit.

Comp points are awarded at the rate (when converted to cash) of 1/10 of 1 percent per dollar wagered and are hardly worth mention. This rate is consistant for all RealTimeGaming sites, including NuWorksSoftware driven casinos.
